Our story
Jefferson, Marco and Xiwen founded Medipix in 2019. It all started a year earlier when Jefferson attended a medical clinic in Amsterdam for an experimental hair growth treatment. It was during that journey when Jefferson first witnessed how inefficient and antiquated the healthcare system was; especially the medical image storage and retrieval process.
So together with Marco and Xiwen they started Medipix in pursuit of a bold idea: combine some of the top minds in medicine and technology to transform the way medical images are processed and analyzed.
Our vision
Every interaction a physician has with their patient is an opportunity to learn more and improve their lives with better treatment.
At Medipix, we believe that technology should liberate physicians from mundane administrative tasks so there is more time for the patient.Such tools should empower physicians to massively improve the quality of healthcare. What stands in the way is an overwhelming technological challenge: the deluge of unstructured image data across thousands of disconnected clinics and medical centers. It is a problem that we believe we can solve.
